Ca Na General Port welcomes ships with capacity of over 53,000 tons

Specifically, the ship named MV VOSCO UNITY, Malaysian nationality, with a tonnage of 53,552 tons, docked at Ca Na General Port to load and unload about 40,880 tons of rock from An Khanh mine ( Ninh Thuan ) for transport to Singapore.

This event is of great significance in continuing to promote and facilitate the connection of goods between roads and waterways, while aiming to build Ninh Thuan into a transit point for goods for the entire South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions, adding to the list of major seaports in the Central region capable of receiving ships with a capacity of 50,000 tons or more. Thereby relieving the pressure on the seaports in the Southeast region and Ho Chi Minh City.

The leaders of Ca Na General Port coordinated with Phuoc Diem Border Guard Station to complete procedures for the Malaysian ship to dock at the port.

It is known that the Ca Na General Seaport Project invested by Trung Nam Investment - Construction Joint Stock Company has a total planning area of 85.52 hectares including two ports to receive general cargo, container cargo, and bulk cargo. The port has a scale of 25 wharfs and has been in operation for phase 1 for more than 2 years from April 2022 to present.
