In the past 24 hours (from 9:00 p.m. on July 10 to 9:00 p.m. on July 11), there has been rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some areas of the province such as: Dong Loi: 64mm (Truong Sinh); Ky Lam: 56mm (Son Duong); Binh Phu: 49mm (Yen Lap); Dao Vien 1: 48mm (Trung Son).

Map of flash flood and landslide risks in areas of Tuyen Quang province

The soil moisture model shows that some areas in the province are near saturation (over 80%) or have reached saturation. In the next 6 hours, areas in the province will continue to have rain with rainfall from 20-50mm, some places over 70mm. In the province, there is a high risk of:

- Flash floods on small rivers and streams

- Landslides in places with steep terrain, weak and unstable soil and rock structure, and construction works

- Flooding in low-lying areas, along rivers and streams and in urban areas

Warning level of natural disaster risk due to flash floods, landslides, land subsidence due to heavy rain or flow in Hamlet 1

Recommend local authorities to review bottlenecks and vulnerable locations to take preventive and response measures.
