Warning of flash floods, subsidence, landslides due to heavy rain or water flow in Tuyen Quang province

In the past 24 hours (from 9:00 p.m. on July 10 to 9:00 p.m. on July 11), there has been rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some areas of the province such as: Dong Loi: 64mm (Truong Sinh); Ky Lam: 56mm (Son Duong); Binh Phu: 49mm (Yen Lap); Dao Vien 1: 48mm (Trung Son).

Soil moisture model shows that some areas in the province are near saturation (over 80%) or have reached saturation. In the next 6 hours, areas in the province will continue to have rain with rainfall from 20-50mm, some places over 70mm. In the province, there is a high risk of:

- Flash floods on small rivers and streams

- Landslides in places with steep terrain, weak and unstable soil and rock structure, and construction works

- Flooding in low-lying areas, river banks and urban areas
