Construction of two traffic bridges commenced to welcome congresses of all levels of the Youth Union

(CT) - The People's Committee of Co Do Commune in coordination with the Co Do Commune Youth Union has just organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the Canal 600 Bridge in Thanh Hung Hamlet (Thien Tam 4 Bridge). This is a project to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2025) and the congresses of all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

The Canal 600 Bridge was built with reinforced concrete, 23m long, 3.3m wide, 3.5 ton load capacity, with a total value of 220 million VND. Of which, the commune's youth mobilized 150 million VND from social sources, the rest was matched by the locality. In addition, the people and union members also contributed working days to help save on labor costs.

Previously, the People's Committee of Co Do commune coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Co Do Commune Youth Union to start construction of the Canal Middle Bridge in Thoi Truong 1 hamlet. The bridge was built with reinforced concrete, 20m long, 3.5m wide, with a total value of more than 230 million VND, from socialized sources.
