Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade held a meeting to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to establish an interdisciplinary working group to combat smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringement. Accordingly, from May 20 to June 15, the interdisciplinary group will monitor and inspect market developments, strengthen the collection and analysis of information on supply and demand, commodity prices, especially essential goods that are vulnerable to speculation and smuggling such as dairy products, modern medicines, functional foods, cosmetics, gasoline, sugar, cigarettes, etc.

Monitor, inspect, control the market and strictly handle according to the law for essential goods on retail channels, unofficial agents, especially on e-commerce trading floors and social networking sites, where there are many potential risks of counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin, poor quality goods, and goods that infringe intellectual property rights.
