On June 12, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No. 684/QD/TTg to award the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to 4 martyrs of the Ministry of Public Security and 2 martyrs of Dak Lak province, who were officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives on June 11, 2023, in the incident where gunmen attacked the headquarters of the People's Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.
The decision to grant the Certificate of "Fatherland's Gratitude" is based on the Law on Government Organization, the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution and the proposal of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in Submission No. 31/TTr-LĐTBXH dated June 12.
The 4 martyrs of the Ministry of Public Security include: Martyr Hoang Trung (originally from Nghi Thu, Cua Lo, Nghe An), Major of the People's Police, police officer of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province); Martyr Tran Quoc Thang (originally from Thach Binh, Thach Ha, Ha Tinh), Major of the People's Police, police officer of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province; Martyr Ha Tuan Anh (originally from Dong Loi, Trieu Son, Thanh Hoa), Captain of the People's Police, police officer of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province; Martyr Nguyen Dang Nhan (originally from Tan Thanh, Yen Thanh, Nghe An), Captain of the People's Police, police officer of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.
The two martyrs from Dak Lak province include: Martyr Nguyen Van Kien (originally from Lien Nghia, Van Giang, Hung Yen), Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province; Nguyen Van Dung (originally from Hung Tien, Nam Dan, Nghe An), Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.
