On August 27, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City announced that it had granted an environmental license to the Nam O Eco-tourism Project invested by Trung Thuy - Da Nang Joint Stock Company. The license is valid for 10 years, from August 26, 2025 to August 26, 2035.
According to the license content, the Nam O Eco-tourism project is allowed to discharge wastewater and exhaust gas into the environment on condition that it strictly implements environmental protection requirements according to regulations issued with the license.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment requires investors to properly and fully implement environmental protection requirements in the newly issued environmental license and regulations of law on environmental protection.
The investor is responsible for promptly reporting to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Hai Van Ward People's Committee and relevant authorities if there are any incidents at waste treatment facilities or other incidents leading to environmental pollution.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment assigned the Department of Environmental Protection and the People's Committee of Hai Van Ward to inspect the implementation of licensing contents and environmental protection requirements for the Nam O Eco-tourism project according to the provisions of law.
Nam O Eco-tourism Area Project has a total land area of 237,228.5m2 . The project invests in the construction and business of an eco-tourism area, including: townhouses, hotels, tourist villas, tourist apartments, activity houses, health care areas and accompanying facilities serving tourism purposes.
Investing in the construction of technical infrastructure items, including: leveling; traffic system; retaining wall; water supply system; power supply system, lighting system; telecommunication system; trees; rainwater collection and drainage system; wastewater collection and drainage system; 4 wastewater treatment systems.
