The G-SHOCK DW-5000R not only honors the original design that stands out for its toughness and durability of the G-SHOCK DW-5000C, but also offers modern features that meet the needs of today's users.
G-SHOCK DW-5000R with bold G-SHOCK DW-5000C
Designed to withstand the rigors of construction sites and outdoor activities, G-SHOCK quickly became a symbol of toughness. With this latest release, Casio continues that legacy while incorporating innovations that suit modern lifestyles.
Efforts to reproduce the characteristics in the G-SHOCK DW-5000C
The Japanese watchmaker has worked hard to recreate the signature details of the G-SHOCK DW-5000C in the new version. The band of the G-SHOCK DW-5000R is identical in length and texture, with distinctive indentations near the holes. The stainless steel middle case and screw-lock caseback retain the iconic "Shock Resistant" engraving. The dial retains the bold red, blue, and yellow accents of the original, while the flat bezel displays the classic "PROTECTION" and "G-SHOCK" text. The DW-5000R is even manufactured in Yamagata Casio to ensure a manufacturing process that is closely tied to the brand's history.

While the G-SHOCK DW-5000R retains its classic look, it features a number of modern enhancements. A high-brightness LED backlight makes it easy to read the time in the dark, while the bezel and band are made from bio-based resin to help protect the environment.
G-SHOCK DW-5000R is also equipped with many practical features such as shock resistance, water resistance up to 200 meters, battery life (CR2016) for about 5 years of use, daily tools (alarm, countdown timer, stopwatch...), LED backlight, durable materials...
Weighing just 76 grams and measuring 48.9 × 42.3 × 13.1 mm, the G-SHOCK DW-5000R is comfortable and compact, ready to accompany users in all activities.
