Sao Do Club is a voluntary social organization of Hai Duong natives who are working, studying and living in Hanoi . The club was established and operates with the motto of exchanging, meeting, visiting, supporting, sharing, helping each other to develop together, and carrying out social and humanitarian activities towards Hai Duong homeland.
From 37 initial members, the Red Star Club now has more than 400 members, most of whom are cadres, leaders, military generals, civil servants, businessmen, reporters, artists, etc. In recent years, the club has had many practical and meaningful activities towards the Eastern land. The club has organized 5 awarding sessions for poor students who have overcome difficulties and studied well in Hai Duong city, Chi Linh and Ninh Giang, Binh Giang, Tu Ky districts with a total value of nearly 900 million VND. The unit coordinated to organize medical examinations, health consultations and free medicine distribution for nearly 2,000 policy beneficiaries in Nam Sach, Ninh Giang, Gia Loc, Thanh Mien districts with a total cost of more than 4 billion VND.
During the 3 years of the Covid-19 pandemic (2020-2022), the club has donated nearly 3.6 billion VND to support the homeland in fighting the pandemic. The club has just launched a charity fund for the homeland, raising 114 million VND to carry out social security activities in Hai Duong...
On this occasion, Sao Do Club awarded 3 groups and 19 individuals who have made positive contributions to the club's activities over the past 20 years.
