Le Dinh Long Vu is in the top 60 most talented young players in the world in 2023.

On October 12, The Guardian (UK) announced a list of the 60 most talented young players in the world in 2023. Among them, Vietnamese football winger Le Dinh Long Vu was included. Le Dinh Long Vu was born in 2006 in Ha Tinh , is 1.72m tall and currently plays for Song Lam Nghe An club.

In the article titled: "Next Generation 2023: 60 best young talents in world football", 3 writers of The Guardian, Marcus Christenson, Steven Bloor and Garry Blight, researched, discussed and voted on the best young players around the world born in 2006. Among them, many prominent names are known as football "prodigies" of countries such as: Endrick (Brazil), Zaire-Emery (France), Paris Brunner (Germany), Le Dinh Long Vu (Vietnam)...

Evaluating Le Dinh Long Vu's talent, The Guardian wrote: "Vietnamese football is fortunate to have many technical, agile players who can use both feet well, and Le Dinh Long Vu is that type of player. He made a strong impression at the 2023 AFC U17 Championship and was called up to the Vietnam U23 team. Long Vu's agility, dribbling ability and ability to put the ball into the penalty area have made fans compare this player to Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden. Young Vietnamese talents do not always progress as expected, but with the right training and club selection, Long Vu can really go very far."

It is known that in the list of 60 most talented young players in the world in 2023 voted by The Guardian, Le Dinh Long Vu is the only Southeast Asian player to be included. Remember in 2014, player Phan Thanh Hau (Hoan Anh Gia Lai ) was voted by The Guardian into the top 40 most talented players in the world. Currently, although he is 26 years old, Phan Thanh Hau's career has not made many marks.
