In the 42nd minute of the Europa League semi-final second leg, with MU trailing 0-1, Patrick Dorgu threaded a pass through Athletic Bilbao's high defensive line. Alejandro Garnacho broke free and faced goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala.

But instead of curling the ball into the far corner, he opted for a chip shot. The young Argentinian's effort sent the ball past the opposing goalkeeper's reach, but it went wide.
On the sidelines, coach Ruben Amorim couldn't hide his disappointment with his 2004-born pupil. Finishing has long been a problem for Garnacho. In moments of brilliance, the 21-year-old can create spectacular goals. However, he frequently misses opportunities that any attacking player could have converted into a goal.
"Too flashy. Just a basic finish would have been enough," one frustrated MU fan commented. "Sign Matheus Cunha immediately," a second added. "Chelsea, come and take Garnacho and leave £70 million," a third disappointed Red Devils fan remarked.
Following Garnacho's missed opportunity, MU had a spectacular second half with four goals. Substitute Mason Mount shone with two superb goals, helping MU advance to the Europa League final against Tottenham.
The all-English final of this season's Europa League will take place at 2:00 AM on May 22nd at San Mames, Bilbao's home stadium.
