In recent times, with many practical actions, the cooperation and contribution of the community, Phu Ninh district has supported social protection beneficiaries to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

In order to take care of social welfare beneficiaries in a timely and accurate manner, the district directs communes and towns to proactively grasp the living conditions of difficult cases to have support plans. Particularly for social welfare beneficiaries who are still able to work, depending on each case, the locality has directions to help them improve their lives...

Since the beginning of the year, all levels and sectors of the district have always paid attention to and implemented well the social security work, contributing to improving and gradually raising the lives of policy beneficiaries in the area. Comrade Pham Quang Dang - Head of the District Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said: "Implementing Decree 20/2023/ND-CP dated March 15, 2021 of the Government stipulating social assistance policies for social welfare beneficiaries and legal documents, the district provides monthly social allowances for more than 4,400 social welfare beneficiaries. The determination of disability levels and social assistance policies are implemented fully, promptly and in accordance with regulations; the reception and settlement of records are carried out according to the one-stop mechanism, recorded in a clear monitoring book, without overdue administrative procedures. The Department has appraised and advised the District People's Committee to issue over 370 decisions on social welfare for the elderly, people with severe and extremely severe disabilities, caregivers of people with extremely severe disabilities, poor single people raising children, orphans...".

The elderly are always cared for by Party committees and authorities at all levels. The District Elderly Association's representative board has coordinated with the Elderly Association's representative board, People's Committees of communes and towns, departments, branches and organizations to visit, give gifts, celebrate longevity and wish longevity to more than 1,900 elderly people in the area. At the same time, organize activities such as meetings, seminars, entertainment, sports, arts...; create favorable conditions for the Elderly Association of communes and towns to operate, promote the role of the elderly in participating in Party building, government, cultural and social movements, and sustainable poverty reduction in the locality. Coordinate with agencies and People's Committees of communes and towns to effectively carry out the work of eliminating temporary houses for 2 policy households with the amount of 160 million VND, pay electricity bills for poor households and provide emergency assistance to 2 families with sudden difficulties...

Up to now, the work of caring for social welfare beneficiaries has been well implemented by local Party committees, authorities, relevant sectors, communes and towns in the district. Social welfare beneficiaries when facing difficulties and misfortunes are all supported promptly. In addition, the work of caring for social welfare beneficiaries has also received the cooperation and contribution of philanthropists, units, enterprises... Along with the correct, sufficient and timely implementation of policies, agencies, departments, sectors, unions, socio-political organizations in the area have been and are continuing to coordinate and organize many practical activities to help beneficiaries have a better life, contributing to ensuring social security... With practical, effective and comprehensive support activities, regular subsidies and health care have helped social welfare beneficiaries gradually improve their lives and integrate into the community.
