Rectifying the fundraising for the graduation exam at Nguyen Van Tiep High School

On May 20, Mr. Le Quang Tri - Director of the Departmentof Education and Training of Tien Giang province - said that he had asked the principal of Nguyen Van Tiep High School in Tan Hoa Thanh commune, Tan Phuoc district to withdraw the document and immediately rectify the fundraising for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

The Department of Education and Training of Tien Giang province does not have the above policy and requires other schools in the province to absolutely not mobilize or donate money outside of regulations.

Recently, on May 2, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Principal of Nguyen Van Tiep High School - signed an open letter regarding financial support for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, the school board and the parents' representative committee agreed to mobilize parents to voluntarily contribute to support meals and accommodation for teachers coming from afar to perform exam invigilation duties. The deadline for receiving support is May 20, 2025.

According to Nguyen Van Tiep High School, for the 2024 exam, the school and the parents' representative committee have carried out this work, contributing to the successful organization of the exam.

There are many mixed opinions about Nguyen Van Tiep High School's mobilization of funds from parents to support exam supervisors and teachers, because the State allocates funds for the high school graduation exam for teachers, officials and functional forces to perform their duties.

Volunteers are also available to assist candidates during the exam period. Fundraising for this work is not necessary.
