On the morning of March 26, at Da Nang Station, the Da Nang Department of Tourism solemnly organized to welcome the tourist train "Connecting Central Heritage".
At 10:30 a.m. on March 26, a 10-car tourist train named “Connecting Central Heritage” departed from Hue City (Thua Thien – Hue Province) and arrived at Da Nang Station to a warm welcome from the Da Nang tourism industry.

According to information at the Welcome Ceremony, the tourist train "Connecting Central Heritage" opened on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2024) and the Liberation of Thua Thien - Hue Province (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2024) is a new tourism product, demonstrating efforts to connect the region and promote tourism between the two localities through the intermediary role of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR).

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Railways Corporation Dang Sy Manh said that putting into operation the train "Connecting Central Heritage" is a unique and interesting segment of experience, tourism, history, culture, and heritage that Vietnam Railways has been implementing.
Every day, Vietnam Railways Corporation organizes 2 pairs of trains with code HD1/2 and HD3/4 Hue - Da Nang and vice versa. In Hue, train HD1 departs from Hue Station at 7:45 am and arrives at Da Nang Station at 10:35 am; train HD3 departs from Hue Station at 2:25 pm and arrives at Da Nang at 5:40 pm. In Da Nang, train HD2 departs from Da Nang Station at 7:50 am and arrives at Hue Station at 11:05 am; train HD4 departs from Da Nang Station at 3:00 pm and arrives at Hue Station at 5:45 pm.

During the opening month, Vietnam Railways Corporation applied a preferential ticket price of 150,000 VND/ticket; monthly ticket price of 900,000 VND/ticket (monthly tickets purchased at stations only) and a discount of 10% - 50% for passengers who are policy beneficiaries.
