Speaking to Dan Viet at 9:40 p.m., Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc - Head of the Forestry Sub-Department (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Bac Ninh province) said that the fire has been handled and controlled by the authorities. "Currently, we are extinguishing the ashes to prevent the fire from spreading," said Mr. Ngoc.
"There is no rain this winter so the leaves are dry and falling, there are many leaves and branches so the risk of fire is high" - Mr. Ngoc said and informed that tomorrow morning the unit will measure and count the specific damage. Regarding the cause of the fire, Mr. Ngoc said that the unit will coordinate with the police force to investigate and clarify.
