Fire broke out in a 4-story house at dawn, firefighters rescued a victim

At 4:36 a.m. on November 15, Khanh Hoa Province's 114 Center received a fire report at house number 81 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Nha Trang Ward. The fire broke out fiercely and quickly spread to the upper floors of the 4-story house. Immediately, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police dispatched 1 command vehicle, 4 fire trucks and 35 officers and soldiers to the scene.

The force deployed multiple approaches, sprayed water to control the fire and organized a search for victims amid thick smoke and toxic gas. By 5:10 a.m., the fire was basically under control.

Firefighters approached the scene, urgently searched and rescued victims.

According to the leader of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police, the soldiers discovered and promptly brought the female victim, Ms. TTT H (born in 2000, residing in Hamlet 1 Ninh Thuong, Hoa Tri Commune) who was hiding on the 4th floor out of the danger zone. Ms. H. was injured, received first aid on the spot and was quickly transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for emergency treatment.

By 5:50 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The fire had burned down many properties. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit. Authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify.
