Khanh Hoa Education Department announced that they will not accept congratulatory flowers on November 20, sharing the difficulties with people in flood-hit areas.

Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has just sent a document to departments, branches, sectors, organizations in the province, People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones about not organizing receptions for guests, not accepting congratulatory flowers on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025). This is to practice thrift, fight waste, and at the same time share some of the difficulties with people in provinces that have just suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters and floods.

Some universities in the province also have similar announcements. For example, Pacific University called on units, businesses, partners, and parents to convert flower donations into practical contributions to funds or localities affected by storms and floods. Nha Trang University announced that it would not organize receptions or accept congratulatory flowers on November 20, but would only accept electronic greeting cards or congratulatory letters via email.

The above action not only has humanitarian meaning but also educates students about the spirit of mutual love and responsibility to the community.
