U22 Vietnam will begin their journey to defend their SEA Games Gold medal by facing U22 Laos in the opening match of Group B of men's football.
The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Laos took place at 7:00 p.m. on April 30, receiving great attention from fans.
At the 32nd SEA Games, the organizing committee decided to give out free tickets to spectators. According to the announcement of the organizing committee, each fan will only be allowed to book 2 tickets within 3 days before the match takes place.
However, tickets to watch the match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Laos on April 30 on the SEA Games 32 application were announced to be sold out.
This has left Vietnamese fans in Cambodia in a state of passivity as they cannot find tickets to watch U22 Vietnam's opening match.
In addition to the ticket source on the SEA Games 32 application for the match of U22 Vietnam on April 30 being sold out, there is still no further information about other ticket sources.
Previously, on April 24, tickets to watch the opening match of the men's football event of the 32nd SEA Games between the teams in Group A including U22 Indonesia-U22 Philippines, U22 Timor Leste-U22 Cambodia on April 29 were all sold out.
Within more than an hour, all 14,300 tickets issued through FFC channels were sold out. Many fans who could not find tickets had to turn to the National SEA Games Organizing Committee 32 (CAMSOC) for ticket distribution, as well as the Cambodian Ministryof Education , Youth and Sports.
The 32nd SEA Games men's football event will officially start on April 29 and end with the final match on May 16.
Group A includes host Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Timor Leste and Myanmar. Group B has Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos and Singapore.
To prepare for the tournament, U22 Vietnam traveled to Cambodia on April 26 and started training in Phnom Penh.
In the second training session, despite the hot weather, coach Philippe Troussier and his team still took advantage of every minute on the training ground, trying to complete the final pieces to prepare for the opening match at the 32nd SEA Games.
At this training session, head coach Philippe Troussier implemented a tactical training program, with very high professional requirements for the players./.
