In those small camellia flowers, there is the scent of heaven and earth, the effort and love of the farmers who diligently contribute to preserving the essence of Thai tea. Among them, we cannot fail to mention the contribution of Ms. Dao Thi Thuc, Director of Nhat Thuc Tea Cooperative, who has devoted all her heart to creating a special product - flower tea, made from the most selected camellia flowers.
Unlike other flowers, camellia flowers only bloom once a year, on high hills with lots of sun, wind and little frost. Not every tea garden can pick flowers to make tea, because the flowers must "choose" a place with a clean climate and with pure, healthy tea varieties.
Each flower is picked at the right stage of blooming, when the petals are still slightly curved, and the fragrance is pure. The tea maker must “get it right” – that is, dry the flowers by hand on a cast iron pan, a process that requires experience, delicacy, and a passion for the craft passed down through generations. Thanks to this, the flowers retain their natural flavor, without burning or losing their characteristic ivory yellow color.
Ms. Dao Thi Thuc has cleverly combined tea flowers with stevia - a safe natural herb, especially suitable for diabetics, making flower tea a drink that is both sophisticated and good for health.
Sitting in a small room filled with the scent of tea, Ms. Thuc gently brewed a new pot of tea. Pouring hot water, the flowers gradually bloomed, releasing a gentle fragrance, telling the story of the hard-working farmers, of the sun, of the wind, of the good land. The first taste of tea touched the lips, gentle, then gradually spread, leaving a sweet aftertaste in the throat.

Camellia contains high levels of polyphenols and catechins, which have strong antioxidant properties, helping to slow down the skin aging process, reduce wrinkles, and increase elasticity. The refreshing scent of the flowers also helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and bring a feeling of relaxation and comfort.
In particular, when combined with stevia, flower tea can help purify the body, aid digestion, and stabilize blood sugar. Ms. Dao Thi Thuc has devoted much effort to building the Nhat Thuc tea brand, which is trusted by consumers in and outside the province. With the cooperative's tea area of more than 15 hectares, of which 7 hectares are organic tea, the rest meet VietGAP standards, and with more than 100 households from neighboring communes participating in the joint supply of safe raw materials, Nhat Thuc Cooperative has created a closed production chain, ensuring quality and clear traceability.
The Cooperative absolutely does not buy fresh tea outside the affiliated area, a strict principle to maintain the reputation and prestige of the brand. Thanks to that, the annual revenue of the Cooperative reaches over 3 billion VND, creating regular jobs for more than 10 workers with an average income of 8 million VND/person/month.
The finished flower tea is packaged in delicately designed, eye-catching boxes, priced from 150,000 - 200,000 VND/box. It is not only a drinking product, but also a cultural gift, containing the soul of the homeland and the scent of Thai Nguyen land, to send to friends all over the world.

Therefore, we are focusing on researching medicinal tea lines that have the effect of nourishing the liver, brightening the eyes, beautifying the skin, supporting sleep, and can even be used as body care products.
The project she is nurturing is tea extract - a product that can be mixed with water for bathing, helping to increase resistance, prevent allergies and itching. "I want each drop of tea to not only be enjoyed by the taste buds, but also to be able to take comprehensive care of the body," - she said with a gentle smile.
Ms. Dao Thi Thuc's journey is not only a story about starting an agricultural business, but also a journey to preserve and renew the quintessence of Thai Nguyen tea culture. From the small flowers blooming on the high hills, she has carefully collected every drop of sunlight and every scent to bring the "Thai Nguyen tea scent" far away, beyond the bamboo fences of the village to domestic and international friends.
