Department of Construction Youth Union organizes Congress for term 2019 - 2022

On November 15, the Youth Union of the Department of Construction held the Youth Union Congress for the 2019 - 2022 term. Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Ly Van Thang, Chairman of the Department of Construction's grassroots trade union - Deputy Director of the Department, representatives of the provincial agencies and enterprises, and all members of the Youth Union.

The Department of Construction Youth Union has 38 members working at the Department Office and Centers under the Department during the 2017 - 2019 term. The Youth Union always completes well the political tasks assigned by the agency and the superior Youth Union. In coordination with the agency's mass organizations, other Youth Unions, emulation clusters, the superior Youth Union organizes many activities such as: contributing to support funds with the result of 100% of Youth Union members participating in the implementation; in coordination with emulation cluster No. 4, the Youth Union of the provincial agencies and enterprises to visit and give gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day with 10 gifts worth 5 million VND; giving gifts to children in difficult circumstances with the amount of 2.3 million VND; giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances at Quang Long Primary School, Ha Lang District with the amount of 2 million VND; Register and undertake the youth work "Building a medicinal herb garden and outdoor drainage system" at Hung Dao Primary School, Cao Bang city with the amount of 8 million VND ; build rural roads in Hoang Tung commune, Hoa An district ; Participate in the volunteer activities of emulation cluster No. 4 - volunteer labor to clean up the Youth Establishment Village (Ban Khoong, Ly Quoc commune, Ha Lang district, Cao Bang province) and organize environmental sanitation labor, start construction of clean water project in Trung Vuong commune, Hoa An district, Cao Bang province. The Youth Union together with units in emulation cluster No. 4 coordinated with emulation cluster No. 2 to build a road to Kim Dong's tomb in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district. Participate in the volunteer labor "Socialist Labor Day" to support the construction of new rural areas in Vinh Quang commune, Cao Bang city organized by the Youth Union; 100% of union members responded to the campaign of the Construction Industry Union to contribute 1 day's salary to support Minh Thanh commune to build new rural areas. Coordinated with the Party Committee to give Tet gifts to poor households in difficult circumstances in Minh Thanh commune, Nguyen Binh district, worth 10 million VND; coordinate with the Department's Trade Union to regularly visit, encourage and support families of officials in the Department who have sick members, visit and wish Happy New Year to union members in difficult circumstances in the branch; Participate in Tet tree planting; Volunteer to respond to "Green Sunday", organize union members to clean the premises and offices of agencies and units; The branch has 13 union members who are Party members participating in activities at the branch.

The Youth Union regularly organizes exciting cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate holidays and anniversaries... Through volunteer and community life activities, the Youth Union members of the Youth Union have a deeper understanding and awareness of revolutionary traditions, patriotic traditions, national solidarity, and enhance the sense of responsibility of young people for the cause of building and developing the socio-economy and defending the Fatherland. The Youth Union has introduced 11 outstanding members to the Party for consideration and admission into the Party.

At the Congress, delegates listened to draft reports summarizing the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement for the 2017-2019 term, and directions and tasks for the 2019-2022 term; participated in discussions and contributed opinions to the summary report of the Youth Union's work and targets for the next term.

In the 2019 - 2022 term, the Youth Union continues to improve the quality of union members, determined to build a strong Youth Union, organize political activities associated with important events of the country and major national holidays, deploy union activities with many methods to attract many union members and young people to participate; apply information technology to professional work, support union members in studying, improve their academic qualifications, expertise and skills; maintain physical education and sports activities to improve the health, life and spirit of union members and young people; promote the strength of solidarity, volunteer spirit, creativity of union members determined to excellently complete assigned tasks, well implement the movement "03 responsibilities" to enhance the responsibility of union members who are cadres, civil servants and public employees in the new period; volunteer for community life, creating exciting emulation movements; Promote administrative reform, build effective scientific working methods in the agency; continue to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example; build a strong and excellent Youth Union.

The Congress elected 3 outstanding members who met the qualifications to the Executive Committee of the Youth Union for the 2019-2022 term.
