Chi Linh completed moving graves on the ground of 2 road and bridge projects.

People in Kiet Dong residential area, Van An ward (Chi Linh) have handed over the site and moved the graves to locations according to the family's wishes ( *photo provided by the facility* ).

By January 12, 30 graves located in the land of two projects: Tan An approach road and bridge (in Van An and Chi Minh wards), Van approach road and bridge (in Tan Dan and Dong Lac wards) in Chi Linh city had been moved. Households with graves have received support money, compensation and handed over the land to the Chi Linh City Land Clearance Council.

Thus, immediately after the compensation plans were announced, the households agreed, quickly moved the graves to new locations according to the families' wishes and soon handed over the site.

Previously, the Chi Linh City Land Clearance Council had paid support and compensation for land clearance for 30 graves. The Tan An Road and Bridge Project had 9 graves with a total support and compensation of nearly 165 million VND. The Van Road and Bridge Project had 21 graves with a total support and compensation of nearly 337 million VND.

At the first conference of the year on building a public investment scenario for 2025, Comrade Luu Van Ban, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, noted the difficulties in capital disbursement. He noted that moving graves is one of the most difficult tasks in site clearance, which can create bottlenecks.

The fact that Chi Linh quickly mobilized households to move graves to hand over the site is thanks to the city's good work in mass mobilization. During the site clearance process, the locality focused on implementing democratic regulations well: holding meetings to announce the project's policy, scale, acceptance, explanation, and effectiveness. Minutes were taken of all meetings, and minutes of the meeting were signed, minutes of the land donation commitment, and handover of the site. In cases of disagreement, the locality sent representatives of leaders and officials of mass organizations to each household to focus on propagating, mobilizing, and disseminating policies and laws on land, compensation and support, and clarifying the purpose and significance of the project...

With that experience, in 2024, Chi Linh is one of the localities that will reach the finish line early in disbursing public investment capital, and will be commended by the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee.
