On July 19, 2024, the Departmentof Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City issued Official Dispatch 4429/SGDĐT-KTKĐ on instructions for additional enrollment in grade 10 for the 2024-2025 school year.

No later than 5:00 p.m. on July 21, 2024, the Department of Education and Training will announce the list of high schools organizing additional enrollment and the enrollment quota of each school on the City's enrollment page at https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn

Conditions for participating in additional enrollment in grade 10 in Ho Chi Minh City

- Students who do not pass any of their admission wishes to public high schools and must have entrance exam scores of 3 subjects: Math + Literature + Foreign Language + priority points (if any) greater than or equal to the admission standard score of the 3rd wish of the public high school they want to apply for.

- For students who have studied at secondary schools in the following areas: Can Gio, Nha Be, Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi and Thu Duc city, if they register for schools in the same area as the secondary school, the total entrance exam score of the candidate will be considered according to the standard score of the first choice of the public high school they want to register for admission.

Note: Thu Duc city is divided into 3 areas, in which KV1 includes schools in the old District 2, KV2 includes schools in the old District 9 and KV3 includes schools in the old Thu Duc district.

- Each student is only allowed to register for additional enrollment at 01 public high school that has not yet met its assigned enrollment quota (according to the list attached in the appendix) and is not allowed to change schools after submitting the application for additional enrollment.

Additional enrollment method for grade 10 in Ho Chi Minh City

- The Admissions Council is responsible for receiving applications within the prescribed time, ensuring that candidates meet the conditions specified in Section II.

According to the implementation time frame:

- From July 22, 2024 to 5:00 p.m. on July 27, 2024: High schools will receive applications for additional enrollment.

- From July 29, 2024 to July 31, 2024: High schools conduct enrollment on exam management software.

- August 1, 2024: High schools report enrollment results to the Department of Education and Training.

- August 6, 2024: Announcement of additional list of successful candidates.

- From August 7, 2024 to 4:00 p.m. August 12, 2024: High schools organize to receive additional admitted candidates.
