Discussing the issue of psychology and health during exam season, psychology and skills consultant Vu Thien Toan said that most 12th graders suffer from common "diseases" such as lack of sleep, lack of exercise, overuse of coffee and soft drinks to stay awake, etc.

According to psychological consultants, candidates need to have a more open and flexible mindset about the exam. There are only 2 days left until the 2024 high school graduation exam, at this stage, maintaining a stable mentality and health is very important. Perfectionists are often many times more prone to anxiety and stress.

"Running for deadlines" close to the exam date is not a good solution. Instead, you should get enough sleep and eat nutritious food. Occasionally, you should change your "taste" by participating in sports activities.

"Candidates need to communicate with friends and relatives. Don't lock yourself in your room to study. Communicating and chatting is a great way to relieve stress and recharge your batteries," psychological consultant Vu Thien Toan emphasized.

Psychological consultant, Dr. Dao Le Hoa An, said that as the exam date approaches, students are more likely to get caught up in uncertainty, fearing that they have not studied enough, and that there is still a lot of knowledge to learn... This is a common mentality of candidates, so no one can avoid it. However, candidates can control and regulate themselves to achieve the best "peak performance".

"Parents should accompany, take care of and remind their children to get enough sleep and eat enough meals. At the same time, tell them to practice waking up early so that their bodies can get used to their biological clock. That way, on exam day, their bodies will not be tired or lack concentration" - Dr. Hoa An suggested.

In addition, parents also need to show their faith and trust in their children. This is the "golden key" to help children feel secure, not feel pressured, and their learning efforts are recognized by their parents.
