After helping Lank Club successfully stay in the Portuguese Women's National Championship, Huynh Nhu said goodbye to the team to return home. After a journey of nearly 30 hours (departing from Portugal, transiting in Turkey), the striker from Tra Vinh arrived at Tan Son Nhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of June 13.

Huynh Nhu was present at Tan Son Nhat airport on the evening of June 13. Despite the long flight, the striker from Tra Vinh still radiated in front of the camera.

The number 1 striker of the Vietnamese women's team left the airport in the arms of her family and parents. After the moment of reuniting with her relatives, Huynh Nhu confided: "For Nhu, every time she returns to Vietnam, she always has a very special feeling. This time, Nhu played the entire season in Portugal. Last year, Nhu also returned to focus on the national team. This year, Nhu has been away for quite a while, so she feels very homesick. Meanwhile, Lank Club still has to play 2 more play-off matches, so it will last for another month."

Huynh Nhu has lived up to her duty, even though her contract expired, the girl from Tra Vinh still stayed to play 2 more play-off matches. The striker born in 1991 has made a great contribution, helping Lank Club stay in the highest league of Portuguese women's football. Regarding this, Huynh Nhu shared: "Lank Club had a difficult season, because almost all the pillars had left, only Nhu and 1 player remained. The force had many young players promoted, so the whole first leg the team almost did not win, did not have any points. In the second leg, the team had additional forces so it was better. Actually, the team's initial goal was also to stay in the league. In the 2 play-off matches, Nhu wanted to try to help the club continue to stay in the highest league of Portugal. When she did, Nhu felt happier when she returned."

Huynh Nhu returned home in the arms of her family. Huynh Nhu's parents and siblings went to the airport early to welcome the 33-year-old female striker.

"The Lank Club faced many difficulties, financially and in all aspects. But right from the beginning of the season, Nhu and the whole team were determined and had a clear mindset. Even though we had no points and faced many challenges, Nhu and the team members always kept their faith, telling each other that we could do it and had to persevere until the last match," Huynh Nhu added.

When Huynh Nhu's contract with Lank Club expired and she returned to Vietnam, the future of the girl from Tra Vinh was the topic that received great attention. There was a lot of information that Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club and Thai Nguyen T&T Club were racing to get Huynh Nhu's signature. When asked about which team she would join, the striker of the Vietnamese women's team expressed: "After a season, Nhu feels quite tired and stressed. Nhu just wants to spend time with her family. Nhu needs a period of rest, for her body to recover and then she will decide her future."
