Today's smartphone market is almost saturated with products with similar designs, which requires smartphone manufacturers to launch phone models with new designs to attract users.
Chinese phone company Honor is trying to do this, having just introduced the idea of a phone called “Robot Phone”, with the highlight of the main camera on the back that can be detached from the device.

The video and images shared by Honor show that the main camera on the back of the product is placed on a gimbal and folded into the back.
This design allows the main camera on the product to rotate 360 degrees to film and take photos at many different angles, including rotating forward to take photos or record selfie videos.
The video also shows that the camera on the Robot Phone is capable of automatically tracking the movement and position of an object to move along to film and take pictures of the object.

Honor says the gimbal stabilizer attached to the main camera on the Robot Phone can help enhance the quality of video and photo shooting, while allowing users to create content with new angles.
“With Robot Phone, Honor envisions the future phone not just as a tool, but as an emotional companion, capable of sensing, adapting and evolving autonomously like a robot, enriching the user's life,” Honor introduced its phone.
The phone has a separate camera, integrated gimbal anti-shake (Video: Honor).
Currently, Honor's Robot Phone is just a concept product and the company is expected to launch a real prototype at the Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona in February next year.
A gimbal is a device designed to stabilize an object, usually a camera or sensor, by eliminating or minimizing vibrations caused by motion.
The device works on rotating axes and uses sensors (such as gyroscopes and accelerometers) and motors to automatically adjust position, ensuring the object is kept stable regardless of user or device movement.
The gimbal anti-shake system will increase the stability of the camera when filming, even when the cameraman is constantly moving.
