Mr. Le Ngoc Quang became Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.

(Dan Tri) - According to the decision of the Politburo, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, was appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.

On the afternoon of October 16, at the Da Nang City Party Committee, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work.

Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision to appoint Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung believed that with his experience and leadership, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, together with the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang, will promote the tradition of solidarity and creativity, successfully implementing the set goals to build Da Nang into a modern, smart and livable coastal city.

In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of Da Nang, Le Ngoc Quang, shared that this is an honor and also a great political responsibility, requiring him to continue to make more efforts and contribute more to respond to the trust of the Central Government and the expectations of the Party Committee, government and people of the city.

Mr. Quang pledged to seriously absorb the instructions of Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung, considering it an important orientation to work with the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee to strive to fulfill the assigned responsibilities.

In his new position, the new Secretary of Da Nang promised to quickly research and learn from practice, continuously study, practice, strive, always uphold the spirit of responsibility, dedication and devotion to the common work, for the development of the city and the happy life of the city's people.

Also on the afternoon of October 16, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee announced the Politburo's decision to transfer Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was born in 1974, from Thanh Hoa province. He has a Bachelor of Journalism.

Mr. Quang used to hold the position of General Director of Vietnam Television Station.

In October 2024, he was appointed by the Politburo to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee (old), term 2020-2025.

When Quang Binh and Quang Tri merged, Mr. Quang was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee (new), term 2020-2025.
