Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of October 16, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. At the conference, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, starting from October 16, 2025.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the decision to Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was appointed to replace Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung, who was recently transferred and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Hue City Party Secretary.

Attending the conference were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung; Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Hoang Dang Quang; Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate Nguyen Van Quang; representative of the Party Committee of Military Region V; and representatives of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision that Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

New Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet delivered a speech accepting his duties.

Presenting the decision and assigning the task, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet is a well-trained cadre, matured from the grassroots, has experienced many working positions and demonstrated capacity, courage, high sense of responsibility, always completing assigned tasks well.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung suggested that, in his new position, Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and unity, effectively deploy the action program to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, and soon put the resolution into life.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that Dak Lak is a locality with an important strategic position in politics, economy, defense, security and foreign affairs of the Central Highlands region. The Politburo's overarching goal is to develop the province even more strongly, becoming the center of the Central Highlands region and a new growth pole of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands.

The key tasks assigned by the Politburo to the Provincial Party Committee in the coming time include: Urgently implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on completing infrastructure, prioritizing traffic connections with localities in the region; effectively organizing the operation of the two-level local government model; conducting quarterly periodic assessments of leaders based on work results and task completion levels, resolutely transferring or assigning other work to officials who do not fulfill their duties.

In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for entrusting him with the new responsibility; and thanked the reception and consensus of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet affirmed that being assigned to the position of Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary is both an honor and a great responsibility. Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet pledged to make every effort, constantly study, practice, promote the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, and creativity to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and all cadres, party members, and people in the province to build Dak Lak to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a new growth pole of the Central Highlands and South Central Coast regions.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership and direction of the Central Government, along with the coordination and support of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, unions and people of the whole province to successfully complete the goals and tasks assigned by the Party and people.

From January 2024 to June 2025, he will hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee. From July to September 2025, he will hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee. From September 2025 to October 2025, he will hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.

From October 16, 2025, hold the position of Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
