Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet holds the position of Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary

On the afternoon of October 16, the Politburo announced the decision to appoint Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet to hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

According to the decision of the Politburo , Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee - was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

On behalf of the Politburo , Mr. Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced and presented the decision, and presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Triet.

Mr. Hung said the central government believes that Mr. Triet will promote his capacity, experience and innovative spirit to lead the locality to develop quickly and sustainably, together with the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Hung acknowledged and commended the comprehensive results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Dak Lak in the 2020-2025 term, including the important contributions of the Party Executive Committee headed by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the new Secretary and the new Executive Committee to promptly concretize the action program to implement the congress resolution, issue working regulations, clearly assign responsibilities, and soon put the resolution into practice.

He emphasized the need to innovate leadership and management methods towards clear people, clear work, and clear results.

Mr. Hung also requested strict implementation of the Politburo's conclusion on evaluating leaders and managers, ensuring transparency, objectivity, and timely replacement of incompetent officials.

He believes that under the leadership of Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, the Party Committee, government and people of Dak Lak will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and creativity, turning the province into a new growth pole of the South Central Coast - Central Highlands region.

Building Dak Lak into a new growth pole

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for entrusting him with the important responsibility. He said that Dak Lak has a strategic position in terms of national defense and security, is rich in cultural and historical traditions, and has great potential for development.

"I am deeply aware that the assigned task is both an honor and a great responsibility in the face of the province's new development requirements. I will work with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to strive to build Dak Lak into an increasingly prosperous and beautiful province, with rapid and sustainable development, becoming a new growth pole of the Central Highlands and South Central Coast," said Mr. Triet.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was born in 1976; hometown Duy An commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province (now Nam Phuoc commune, Da Nang city).

Mr. Triet has the following qualifications: Master of Business Administration, Silicate Technology Engineer, Senior Political Theory.

Mr. Triet has held the following positions: Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union, Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee, Secretary of the Hai Chau District Party Committee.

In October 2020, he was elected as Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee (term 2020-2025) - Chairman of the City People's Council.

On September 6, 2025, he was appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee (term 2020–2025).
