North Korean warship damaged during launch, Kim Jong-un orders strict handling

Shin Seung-ki, a researcher at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses, told NK News that the ship's bottom was severely damaged. He added that the incident could have been due to a "lack of precision, skill and expertise" required to launch such a large ship, as well as the hull's weight and asymmetrical load-bearing capacity, in which the forces acting on the hull were not evenly distributed and caused structural problems.
