Tonight (June 2), Emirates Airlines flight EK370 landed at Da Nang International Airport, carrying 333 international passengers from Dubai to Da Nang. This is the world's leading international airline officially operating the Dubai-Da Nang route with a frequency of 4 flights per week. Da Nang is the third destination in Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in the airline's global flight network.
The event to welcome the first flight was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City in coordination with Emirates Airlines, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) and related units.
Immediately after landing, the plane was greeted with a water cannon salute. Passengers enjoyed a traditional art performance, were given flowers and souvenirs as a warm welcome, showing hospitality and contributing to promoting the image of Da Nang - a safe, friendly and attractive destination.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city, shared: Emirates' operation of flights to Da Nang has helped the city connect with more than 140 global destinations of the airline, including potential markets such as the Middle East, Europe, North America and Africa...
This route not only promotes tourism development but also expands opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment and economic and cultural exchange, contributing to spreading and promoting Da Nang to the world with the message "Discover the stories of Danang".

To prepare for the influx of visitors from the Middle East and new markets with high spending levels, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with relevant units to prepare to complete infrastructure conditions, improve service quality, organize specialized training, and instruct on culture, customs and service procedures suitable for specific markets, including the Middle East market.
In addition, deploying connections to support tourism businesses to exchange customer sources, develop international markets through this flight route to promote two-way passenger growth, aiming to exploit the flight route sustainably and effectively.
Flight EK370 landed at Da Nang International Airport at 7:50 p.m. on June 2, carrying 333 international passengers on a Boeing 777, a wide-body aircraft with three-class service. This was the first flight in Emirates' regular schedule on the Dubai-Bangkok-Da Nang route, with a frequency of 4 flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
