The festival is divided into many spaces, both rustic and modern, visitors can freely walk, enjoy and shop in this unique "market". From the entrance gate, visitors will see the area displaying kilometer markers with the names of districts of Quang Ngai province, further in is the fountain; on the left side of the fountain is the culinary area selling Quang dishes, on the right side is the photo exhibition area, the path leading to the sponsors' area; further in is the main stage, the "squatting" market area is both cute and intimate, people sell each eggplant, bunch of vegetables, each toy, piece of fabric...

In the afternoon, bamboo tables were set up, displaying fruits, vegetables, candies, items, fabrics... In the space next door, artists sang Bài Chòi, followed by gong competitions... It is expected that tonight, the opening night of the event Sắc quê Quảng Ngãi , more tourists will come, and shopping and dining activities will be more bustling.

To prepare for the program to take place properly, on the evening of January 10, the Organizing Committee (OC) worked at full capacity to complete the items and spaces, and the preparation process was basically completed. This is the first time the Quang Ngai Homeland Color program has been held in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Organizing Committee has brought into this space delicious dishes of Quang Ngai homeland such as vermicelli with fish sauce, banh xeo, banh ap, banh beo, banh goi... There are a total of 10 typical Quang Ngai food stalls in the food court.

At the program, visitors can enjoy the 9-wheel water wheel embankment (6m long, 2.2m high, 2m wide) by artisan Mai Van Quyt (Tinh An Tay commune, Quang Ngai city), considered a highlight of Quang Ngai's hometown because this is a work containing the spiritual value of Quang Ngai people, and also because Mr. Mai Van Quyt is one of the last people to make the water wheel embankment.

The photo exhibition space with the theme Quang Ngai - a hundred memories, a thousand loves displays 44 typical works about the land and people of Quang Ngai by 14 famous photographers, arranged on the path leading to the main stage.

Tonight, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the opening program of Quang Ngai's Homeland will take place. The music night themed Singing with the Homeland (directed by Nguyen Thai Huan) will take place at the beginning of the program, with the participation of singers such as: Meritorious Artist Hong Van, Nguyen Phi Hung, Ho Quynh Huong, Huynh Loi...

Quang Ngai Countryside Color Festival takes place on January 12-13, opening hours for 2 days are from 8am to 8pm.

Previously, on November 15, 2023, the Organizing Committee held a press conference to introduce the first Quang Ngai Countryside Color program in 2024. This is a "stepping stone" for the Organizing Committee to carry out many subsequent seasons.

Quang Ngai Countryside Colors is an opportunity for Quang Ngai people to gather, meet, and exchange with each other in a space with "hometown festivals" and "hometown dishes". And the program is also an opportunity to promote Quang Ngai culture at home and abroad.
