Accordingly, after receiving Document No. 4093/TTr-UBND of Hue City People's Committee on the request for appraisal of the Project to restore the relic of the village road, the water wharf and the landscape space along the river of Phuoc Tich Ancient Village, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has appraised and agreed on the Project to restore the relic of the village road, the water wharf and the landscape space along the river of Phuoc Tich Ancient Village.
Panorama of Phuoc Tich Ancient Village
The proposed contents include: Repair and embellishment of village roads (traffic, rainwater drainage system, lighting, decoration along the route, water supply and trees); reception space combined with parking lot; reception garden; Phuoc Tich pottery kiln gate bridge; wishing garden space associated with Hoi wharf; Pottery wharf space - outdoor service point; flower pottery garden associated with Bang tree wharf; community activity space - folk performance garden associated with Dinh wharf; craft village experience space; landscape space - community activity and outdoor festival; repair and renovation of 12 water wharves.
Specifically, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the People's Committee of Hue City to direct relevant agencies to pay attention to the renovation and embellishment of village roads, Phuoc Tich pottery kiln gate bridges and public spaces: The Project dossier needs to be reviewed to ensure compliance with the Phuoc Tich Ancient Village Relic Planning.
Regarding the renovation and improvement of 12 water wharves, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recommends scientific cleaning, preservation and repair of existing railings, pillars and animals on the top of pillars, and retaining ceramic bricks with the name of the wharf and the year. Avoid concreting, prioritize taking advantage of natural terrain, combining with grass and trees. The foundation, steps and step facades should use square and rectangular ceramic bricks to pave in perpendicular lines, not in the form of mosaic (such as the diamond shapes at Can wharf, Cay Thi wharf; or create broken ceramic shapes like Lo wharf, Mieu Vua wharf...).
Research on lighting design, especially in public areas, parking lots and roads, should be characteristic of Phuoc Tich Ancient Village, limiting the use of prefabricated lights that can contrast with the space and landscape of the ancient village.
In addition, planting trees and beautifying the landscape needs to be researched and use trees that are commonly grown locally, in accordance with the Planning of Phuoc Tich Ancient Village relic (do not use trees of foreign origin such as Japanese Jasmine...).
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the People's Committee of Hue City to direct relevant agencies to complete the dossier, publicize the Project's content to the People to create consensus and implement the next steps according to current regulations.
