On the morning of May 22, at the opening session of the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly , presenting a report summarizing the opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the session, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that voters and people are happy and excited with the important results of the Party building and rectification work, especially the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity, which has been carried out resolutely, words go hand in hand with actions, there are really no exceptions, no forbidden areas, becoming an irreversible trend.
Voters and people welcome the National Assembly for promptly organizing extraordinary sessions to consider and decide on important national issues regarding socio-economic recovery and development policies, law-making, personnel work, etc.
Besides, voters and people expressed concern that if the situation continues, some businesses will continue to leave the market, making the lives of workers more difficult.
Some people are still worried and anxious, some are upset because they have spent money to buy houses and land from projects, but due to many different reasons, they have not yet received houses and land and have not recovered their investment. Many people who invested in bonds, insurance, etc. may now face risks. Although the authorities have directed and required them to ensure their rights, voters and people are still worried and not really assured.
Voters and the People are concerned and worried about organized, transnational fraud cases, some cases with foreign elements, through phone calls and text messages in many different fields of usury, debt collection in the style of gangsters, impersonating authorities operating in cyberspace in a sophisticated manner to defraud and appropriate people's assets..., causing many bad consequences.
Overcoming the state of avoidance and fear of responsibility
At this session, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front recommended to the Party and the State to direct research, have policies and solutions to support, remove difficulties and soon restore production for enterprises, promote economic growth, stabilize jobs and income of the people. There are suitable and feasible solutions, both ensuring stability for national development and ensuring the rights of people who have invested in real estate, bonds and insurance.
Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien recommended further strengthening state management and having strong enough sanctions to protect people's rights when signing real estate purchase and sale contracts, insurance contracts, etc. These contracts are pre-printed and have been assessed by responsible agencies. Because of trust, people do not read them carefully or do not understand them clearly, so the unfavorable terms often belong to the buyer, causing both material and spiritual damage to the people.
The Party and State direct competent agencies to research and promulgate legal documents to prevent and overcome the situation where some cadres, civil servants, public employees, and authorized persons shirk responsibility, avoid responsibility, delay, and ineffectively handle work, affecting production and business of enterprises and people's lives.
The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front strongly supports the fight against corruption and negativity because "it will make society better, everything will be better, and we cannot blame it on fear or not daring to do it".
Reporting on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions, Head of the Petition Committee Duong Thanh Binh said that 2,593 petitions had been compiled and sent to competent authorities for settlement. Voters' petitions were related to most areas of social life; 2,589 petitions had been settled and voters had been responded to, reaching 99.8%.
Specifically, the National Assembly and its agencies responded to 91/91 petitions. Voters welcomed and agreed with the strong and comprehensive innovation, with the National Assembly's activities becoming increasingly democratic, public, transparent, and closely connected to the people.

The Government, ministries and central branches have resolved and responded to 2,466/2,469 petitions, reaching 99.9%; in general, they have focused on researching and resolving voters' petitions, demonstrating openness and receptivity when carrying out management and administration work.
