According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting's forecast bulletin, on August 13, the northeastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea will have winds of level 7-9, gusts of level 11-12, very rough seas, and waves from 2.0m-5.0m high.

Warning: On August 14, the northeastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 7-8, gusting to level 9-10; waves 2.0-4.0m high; rough seas.

From August 16 to 18, it is forecasted that in Hue City, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing moderate to heavy rain, with a risk of flash floods and landslides in small rivers and streams.

In the afternoon and evening, thunderstorms often appear with dangerous weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail, localized heavy rain and strong gusts of wind.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hue City requested units and localities to closely monitor warning bulletins, forecasts and developments of strong winds and big waves at sea; promptly notify captains and owners of vehicles and vessels operating at sea to proactively prevent and have appropriate production plans, ensure safety of people and property, maintain communication to promptly handle situations.

The People's Committees of communes and wards shall increase the broadcasting of warnings about natural disasters such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, and flash floods on local communication systems and loudspeakers so that people can proactively take precautions; monitor and propagate to tourism establishment owners and people to implement and prevent accidents, injuries, and drowning; pay special attention to high-risk areas such as rivers, streams, mountainous areas, forests, entertainment areas, and beaches.

Prepare forces and means for rescue when required; organize on-duty shifts and regularly inform the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hue City about the implementation of natural disaster prevention and control work.
