The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just directed provincial departments, branches and sectors; People's Committees of communes and wards to proactively implement measures to prevent and overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the People's Committees of communes and wards to inspect and review the entire tree system in the area, especially on central roads; promptly detect and handle the risk of breaking and falling, causing traffic insecurity, affecting people's lives and property. Proactively arrange sufficient human resources and means to respond and immediately fix the incident of falling trees, ensuring traffic safety, safety of works and property of organizations and individuals; at the same time, organize visits, encourage and mobilize forces to support people to overcome damage caused by natural disasters, soon stabilize their lives and production.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to comprehensively review materials, means, and specialized equipment serving natural disaster prevention and control work in the province, thereby supporting and guiding units and localities to purchase and equip according to regulations, ensuring adequate conditions and readiness to respond to natural disasters.

The Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested Ca Mau Electricity Company, telecommunications enterprises, and units managing billboards in the province to urgently inspect and review electric poles, telecommunications cables, and advertisements on all routes, to have a plan to reinforce poles that are at risk of being unsafe or not ensuring quality; at the same time, promptly take remedial measures when incidents occur, ensuring that they do not affect traffic and travel of people.

Heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards continue to closely monitor the development of natural disasters, promptly direct and command response and overcoming consequences; at the same time, deploy measures appropriate to the actual situation to minimize damage and overcome consequences caused by natural disasters as quickly as possible; mobilize resources to focus on handling urgent issues during and after natural disasters according to regulations.
