Profit after tax reached 591 billion VND
In the first 6 months of 2025, Manulife Vietnam maintained positive growth momentum, recording impressive business indicators thanks to a reasonable investment strategy and sustainable business foundation.
According to the financial report for the first 6 months of 2025, Manulife Vietnam's after-tax profit reached VND591 billion, total assets reached nearly VND145,000 billion, up 6% over the same period last year. With a charter capital of VND22,220 billion, Manulife Vietnam continues to lead the life insurance industry in terms of capital scale.
Not only maintaining financial efficiency, Manulife continues to demonstrate its role as a practical companion to customers in the face of life's risks. Specifically, the company has paid nearly 4,000 billion VND in insurance benefits to customers in the first half of 2025. Most recently, in the case of a shipwreck in Ha Long, the insurance company quickly decided to pay more than 9.2 billion VND to the families of 6 unfortunate customers, contributing to helping families overcome difficult times.

Product innovation, continued digitalization to better serve customers
In accordance with Decree 46 and to meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers, Manulife has introduced the "Green Solution Quad" including: Green Dream - education accumulation solution, Green Future - multi-purpose financial solution, Green Shield - critical illness insurance, and Green Reserve - medical subsidy insurance.
With the message “Choose green for health”, these products are the result of the company’s in-depth research on financial, health, medical trends, etc., in an effort to add practical protection benefits to customers. In addition to high flexibility and competitive fees, the “Green Solution Quartet” is also designed to be transparent and easy to understand. The company also simplified the language in the insurance contract, increasing the intuitiveness so that customers can easily grasp the information.

With a commitment to constantly listen to customers and act promptly, since January, Manulife Vietnam has launched the M-PS customer feedback system, helping to quickly measure customer satisfaction at each touch point. The insurer is committed to contacting customers with negative experiences within 48 hours of receiving feedback to make efforts to resolve concerns.
In addition, to meet customers' online chat needs, the "Manulife Live Chat" chat feature has been integrated into the "My Contract" page and the Manulife Vietnam app, helping customers connect with staff anytime, anywhere and receive instant support. At the same time, the company continues to improve the insurance benefits settlement process by applying automation technology to shorten processing time, launching an online document supplement portal to help customers submit documents quickly, conveniently and safely.
Prioritize the development of a team of professional consultants
In a context where insurance plays an increasingly essential role, Manulife is deeply aware that investing in a team of professional, dedicated and knowledgeable consultants is a prerequisite to building and strengthening customer trust.

In the first half of 2025, Manulife Vietnam will deploy essential training on public health knowledge for consultants through a cooperation program with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, the Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health - Hanoi Medical University.
Specifically, the program provides knowledge about common infectious and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, and cancer - the causes of most current insurance claims. In addition to theory, consultants are also instructed on how to read and understand test results, and consult on health issues related to insurance benefits, and then apply them in practice.
This is a strategic step to develop a new generation of professional consultants with basic knowledge of finance and public health, meeting the increasing demand for healthy living, ensuring customers find optimal protection solutions.
The company has opened a high-end office MClass Saigon in the financial center of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City and operated the first MAC agency office in Hung Yen .
