FPT Chairman emphasized that Vietnam has identified science and technology as an important driving force to meet the double-digit growth target in the coming years. This goal will be realized through areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, semiconductors and education. This is the desire and requirement of the entire political system.
According to Mr. Binh, Vietnam is in a favorable position in the field of science and technology, which is currently only comparable to India in the world. Proof of this is that Nvidia recently chose Vietnam as an investment location as a homeland, a second home. Vietnam also has 1 million IT engineers and a good education system in this field.

Many international businesses have expressed their desire to expand their investment in Vietnam. Sanjay Gupta, President of Google Asia-Pacific, assessed that Vietnam has a "unique" position to become a developed country in the region. He recommended that the Government promote internet connectivity and open up data warehouses to develop AI.
Schneider Electric executives want to cooperate with Nvidia to develop data centers and expect Vietnam to make breakthroughs in transportation infrastructure, airports, and seaports. Kim Fejer, CEO of AP Moller Capital, is looking for investment opportunities in logistics and infrastructure but hopes Vietnam will loosen foreign capital restrictions in important sectors.
Roger Leitner, Chairman of the Swiss-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce, believes that Vietnam has the potential to become an international financial center like Switzerland and Singapore, while also promoting medical tourism. According to former German Vice Chancellor Philip Rosler, this is a golden time to invest in Vietnam thanks to its political stability, young population, high entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to leapfrog to 5G technology. "Right opportunity, right time, right country. Come to Vietnam," he emphasized.
Government committed to supporting businesses
After receiving comments from domestic and foreign enterprises, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung affirmed that Vietnam is strongly reforming its investment environment to become a safe, effective and competitive destination in the region. He cited that foreign investors in the high-tech sector now only need to register to be able to deploy immediately, thanks to available standards and post-audit mechanisms.
