Offering flowers and incense at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Memorial, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man observed a moment of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones in the 81-day and night battle to protect the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, leading to the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising, completely liberating the South and reunifying the country.
The sacrifice of the heroic martyrs shows their resilience, indomitability, and great patriotism for the younger generation to learn from and follow in the cause of building an increasingly developed and prosperous country.
