At two key projects of the province, My Thuy Port Area and Quang Tri Airport, nearly 60 members of the Quang Tri Association in provinces and cities across the country were introduced to the goals and progress of the projects.

Specifically, at the My Thuy Port Area project, the investor is currently constructing 4 wharves for ships with a capacity of up to 100,000DWT with a total length of 1,300 m; dykes and breakwaters 1,735 m long... Regarding progress, the investor has basically completed the construction of 320 m of breakwaters; is constructing the wharf and embankments behind wharfs 1 and 2 with a volume of 31.36%.

Quang Tri Airport Project has a scale of more than 265 hectares with a total investment of over 5,800 billion VND, designed to meet 4C standards and a level II military airport, capable of operating Code E aircraft. The construction of aircraft parking lots and material curbs, internal service roads connecting parking areas with the project's auxiliary areas have been basically completed.

Visiting the province's key projects, the delegation members were very happy and proud of the province's determination. At the same time, they expressed their belief that with the close attention and direction of the leaders, the government, and the consensus of the people, Quang Tri will develop even more strongly in the coming time.

On the same morning, the delegation offered incense and flowers at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed their lives during the 81-day and night campaign in the fiery summer of 1972. Expressing their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs for the independence, freedom and unification of the country, the members of the delegation were even more determined to contribute their efforts to successfully achieve the socio-economic development goals, contributing to building the homeland and the Fatherland increasingly prosperous.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 23, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized the first "Quang Tri Love" Tennis Tournament in 2025. The tournament had 28 pairs of athletes from Quang Tri Associations in provinces and cities across the country and agencies, units, businesses and localities in the province. The athletes competed in 2 events in 4 groups in the form of scoring. This is a sports activity connecting Quang Tri people who are studying, working and living all over the country to meet, share and contribute to sustainable development, solidarity and solidarity with the homeland.
