During the examination, 55 officers, soldiers and residents of Con Co island district were screened for eye diseases, refraction examination, initial eye care consultation and free medicine. At the same time, the program also organized consultation on how to detect and prevent early eye diseases that cause blindness in the elderly; how to detect and prevent refractive diseases in school; treatment methods for common eye diseases for officers, soldiers and residents.

On this occasion, the units offered incense and flowers at the district martyrs’ memorial; presented gifts to the Con Co island district medical center. The activities of screening and consulting on eye care also aim to help officers, soldiers and people take better care of their health to protect and build the homeland’s islands to become increasingly prosperous.
