On the afternoon of April 14, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly announced that, at the invitation of President of the Cuban National Assembly Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies Cecilia Moreau, President of the Eastern Uruguayan Senate Beatriz Argimon Cedeira, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will pay an official visit to Cuba, Argentina and Eastern Uruguay from April 18-28.

The political relations between Vietnam and Cuba have continuously developed well through regular exchanges of delegations at all levels, especially high-level exchanges, through all channels of the Party, National Assembly, Government, ministries, branches, localities and people of the two countries.

Vietnam - Argentina relations have continued to be strengthened and consolidated in recent times, demonstrated through delegation exchanges at all levels, especially in 2023, when the two countries will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (October 25, 1973 - October 25, 2023).

2023 also marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Uruguay (1993 - 2023).
