According to a report by JA Solar Vietnam, since 2016, JA Solar Group has invested in Bac Giang, forming an advanced and modern closed-loop solar panel production chain. Up to now, JA Group has invested in three projects in Bac Giang province, with a total investment of 967 million USD, specializing in the production of silicon wafers and the assembly of solar panels (photovoltaic modules), high-efficiency photovoltaic cells (solar cells), and the production of silicon wafers and high-efficiency photovoltaic cells.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his delight at the performance of JA Solar Vietnam Company. Although it only invested in Vietnam in 2016, JA Solar Vietnam has become the second largest foreign-invested enterprise in Bac Giang, creating a large number of jobs, initially creating a solar battery ecosystem - a material that the world is in great demand for in the current energy transition process, initially contributing to the budget of Bac Giang province.
The National Assembly Chairman expressed his impression of the company's goal of doubling or tripling its current product chain; hoping that the company's factory in the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Park (also in Viet Yen) will soon be put into operation, contributing to promoting the growth of Bac Giang province in the coming time. The National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated the social responsibility of JA Solar Vietnam, including supporting low-income people, students, etc.
On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue praised and appreciated Bac Giang province in its efforts to attract investment. The Vietnamese have a saying: "If you want big fish, you must have a deep pond". Emphasizing this, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the province needs to promote investment in construction, complete and synchronous infrastructure to attract many large enterprises to invest.
The National Assembly Chairman said that Vietnam is promoting the conversion of fossil energy to renewable energy, is a country with great potential for renewable energy, and has committed to achieving zero net emissions by 2050 at the 26th United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26). The recently issued Power Plan VIII clearly states the goal of increasing renewable energy, especially solar and wind energy. The National Assembly Chairman suggested that JA Solar continue to accelerate investment in Vietnam to expand production and business activities, and increase the output of solar battery products to meet the market demand of Vietnam in particular and the world market in general.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed that the National Assembly and the Government of Vietnam are committed to always improving the investment and business environment for enterprises of all economic sectors, including foreign investors, and perfecting institutions and laws. Vietnam always considers the success of foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam as its own success. In 2023, the National Assembly requested a comprehensive review of the entire legal system to find any overlaps and problems, and to have plans to amend, supplement, and improve to create the most favorable conditions for people and businesses.
Acknowledging the recommendations of the leaders of JA Solar Vietnam Company, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that the National Assembly has just closed the 5th extraordinary session, passing the Land Law (amended), the Law on Credit Institutions (amended) with many innovations, creating a transparent capital mobilization channel for investors.
In 2024, the National Assembly has determined to focus on reviewing administrative procedures to provide more support to people and businesses. The Government has just issued Resolution 02/NQ-CP dated January 5, 2024 on key tasks and solutions to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness in 2024. In particular, it is not allowed to "give birth" to additional sub-licenses, not to cause inconvenience and difficulties for people and businesses, especially specialized inspection procedures and import-export procedures.
At the 6th Session, the National Assembly of Vietnam passed Resolution No. 107/2023/QH15 on the application of additional corporate income tax in accordance with the provisions against global tax base erosion; and at the same time, it allowed the establishment of an Investment Support Fund established from global minimum tax sources. The goal of the Investment Support Fund is to stabilize the investment and business environment, support domestic and foreign enterprises and investors in a number of key areas, areas that Vietnam prioritizes. Vietnam is one of the few countries in the world that can apply this to stabilize the investment and production environment, helping foreign investors continue to feel secure when investing in production and business in Vietnam.
Regarding decentralization and delegation of power, the National Assembly Chairman said that Vietnam is implementing the direction of the Central Government promoting decentralization to the provincial level, and the provincial level promoting decentralization to lower levels in the spirit of creating all favorable conditions for people and businesses. The spirit is not to wait for businesses and people to encounter difficulties before solving them, but to create all favorable conditions for people and businesses."

On the afternoon of January 18, the National Assembly Chairman and the delegation attended the inauguration and presented the Great Solidarity House to Ms. Le Thi Chinh's household in Vang village, Bich Dong town, Viet Yen district.
Here, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated the results of social security work in Bac Giang province in general and Viet Yen district in particular, including the work of building solidarity houses for poor households and policy families. The National Assembly Chairman hoped that the locality would pay more attention to social security work, not leaving anyone behind, especially helping poor households and policy families have a place to "settle down" and "make a living".
