Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata thanked National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue for taking the time to receive the delegation. Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata forwarded proposals from some members of the Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association related to production and business activities in Vietnam. These include projects related to green production, environmental protection, production of vaccines for poultry, cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, universities, opening a photo exhibition in Hanoi , etc.
The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that Vietnam and Indonesia have a long-standing traditional friendship. Emphasizing that Vietnam wishes to promote relations through all channels of the Party, National Assembly, Government, and people-to-people exchange, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue appreciated that the Indonesia - Vietnam Friendship Association has contributed to enhancing people-to-people exchange between the two countries, as well as resolving difficulties in investment and business.
Citing the saying: "If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together", and in this case "if you want to reach the finish line, go together", National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue hopes that the Indonesia - Vietnam Friendship Association will increasingly expand its members and composition; at the same time, he suggested that the Indonesia - Vietnam Friendship Association organize a people-to-people diplomacy event this year when the two countries celebrate the 10th anniversary of establishing a strategic partnership.
Regarding the proposed contents of businesses that are members of the Indonesia - Vietnam Friendship Association, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that the Forum on policies and laws to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries will be held this afternoon.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue also stated that policies and laws are always being improved by Vietnamese authorities, especially in encouraging "green investment" to contribute to environmental protection and efforts to implement digital transformation in the current period.
Regarding the photo exhibition in Hanoi proposed by Chairman Budiarsa Sastrawinata, the Chairman of the National Assembly said that the Secretary General of the National Assembly will connect with the Vietnam News Agency to coordinate in organizing this event.
Also this morning, the National Assembly Chairman and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly laid wreaths at the Monument to Indonesian National Heroes in Kalibata Cemetery in the south of the capital Jakarta.
