Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung dialogues to resolve citizens' complaints

On the afternoon of June 27, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung chaired a dialogue with Mr. Nguyen Minh Dat's household and his brothers, residing in Cho Moi district, according to Plan 186/KH-UBND, dated April 21, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the dialogue, the Provincial Inspectorate briefly reported on the development of the complaint and the settlement process so far for the complaints of Mr. Nguyen Minh Dat's family members. At the same time, it proposed a solution to support Mr. Nguyen Van Xinh's co-heirs with an amount of 150 million VND plus bank interest on this amount from October 10, 2001 to June 30, 2025, with an amount of 733,868,991 VND. In total, the support amount is 883,868,991 VND. Support for Mr. Dat's 3 brothers (Nguyen Minh Dat, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Nguyen Kim Nen) with 16,000m2 ^of agricultural land in Luong An Tra commune (Tri Ton district), so that they can have land for cultivation and stabilize their lives.

However, Mr. Nguyen Minh Dat did not agree with the resolution of the Provincial People's Committee and requested to provide the conclusion of the Government Inspectorate Working Group to the family, as well as issue a document to end the case.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha did not agree with the solution of the Provincial People's Committee, and requested support to resolve the issue of agricultural land in Cho Moi district for her. Ms. Nguyen Kim Nen agreed with the solution of the Provincial People's Committee. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Suong had authorized Mr. Dat, so she agreed to let Mr. Dat decide.

Concluding the dialogue, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung said that in order to completely resolve the long-standing complaint of Mr. Nguyen Van Xinh's family members, represented by Mr. Nguyen Minh Dat and his brothers, residing in Cho Moi district, the provincial leaders have directed relevant sectors and localities to inspect and review very carefully, ensuring support in accordance with legal regulations.

Therefore, in case Mr. Dat's family members agree on the above settlement plan, they need to carry out the authorization procedure in accordance with regulations, so that the Provincial People's Committee can resolve the matter according to the announced plan. In case Mr. Dat does not agree on the settlement plan, the Provincial People's Committee will report the results of the inspection and review to the Government Inspectorate.
