With the desire to create healthy and meaningful playgrounds, the Provincial Youth Startup Support Center in collaboration with Lam Chan Au Coffee organized a Coconut Leaf Weaving Workshop. This is not only a simple fun activity, but also a great opportunity for children to develop their dexterity, meticulousness and creativity. When their small, nimble hands turn coconut leaves into grasshoppers, birds or funny toys, their concentration and imagination are clearly developed.

The joy was evident on the children's faces. Dang Khoi (8 years old) excitedly shared: "I find weaving coconut leaves very fun. It was a bit difficult at first, but with the teacher's guidance, I was able to make a beautiful bird myself. I even plan to make one for my parents when I get home!"

Ms. Thanh Tam, a teacher at Nguyen Du Primary School, who directly guided the children, expressed her joy at seeing the students' passion: "This is the first time I have collaborated with the Provincial Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center to teach children to create funny shapes using coconut leaves. Workshop experiences like this help children have healthy entertainment, practice necessary skills and stay away from phones, games, and dangerous temptations."

This summer, the Oc Eo Cultural Heritage Management Board of the province coordinated with local schools toeducate about traditions and arouse the love of heritage in the young generation. With the theme "Traditional Education of Oc Eo Cultural Heritage", this year's summer program has implemented many exciting and fun learning activities, lasting from June 10 to August 21. Right after the opening ceremony, the atmosphere became exciting when students from Primary Schools A, B in Oc Eo town and Primary School "B" Vong Dong enthusiastically participated in the game of looking at pictures and guessing words with the theme "Learn about the worship of gods in Hinduism (Visnu, Drama, Shiva, Sun God) through magical crossword puzzles". This is a new way to help children approach historical knowledge in a gentle and interesting way.

Not only stopping at quiz games, the program also took the children to explore more deeply the historical and cultural values. They learned about national treasures such as the Nandin Giong Cat Ring and the Linh Son Bac Buddha Relief, along with other typical relics and artifacts of the Oc Eo culture. The specific images and artifacts helped the children visualize more clearly a culture that was once brilliant in history. Moreover, through the documents available at the Oc Eo Cultural Relics Management Board, the children were also introduced and guided in detail about the history of the formation and development of the Oc Eo culture.

The series of activities "Summer fun with Oc Eo culture" also includes many other attractive playgrounds, such as the "I am a tour guide" contest, where children can confidently transform into talented tour guides, introducing relics; the "Oc Eo cultural heritage through my perspective" contest, encouraging creativity and expressing children's understanding of heritage through works of art. These activities not only bring a healthy, safe and rewarding summer, but also contribute significantly to educating the younger generation about Oc Eo cultural values...
