On the afternoon of November 17, Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and shared the joy of the Great National Unity Day at Le Van Tam Hamlet (Ward 1, Vinh Long City). Also attending were Mr. Bui Van No - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Vinh Long City Party Committee, local leaders and more than 180 people of the hamlet.

Le Van Tam Hamlet is one of 5 hamlets under the People's Committee of Ward 1, with 2,581 people belonging to 568 households, divided into 30 self-governing People's groups.
Under the direction of the Steering Committee of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", the hamlet mobilization committee has always relied on the solid foundation of "taking people as the root" to carry out together. As a result, the number of households achieving the title of cultural family is 452, accounting for 99.34%.

Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to continue to innovate the content of organizing the annual Festival in hamlets; using the Festival for the Party Committee and government to be close to and listen to the opinions and recommendations of the people to propose policies, directions and implementation tasks suitable to the actual situation of the locality.
Cadres and party members working on the front must be close to the people, understand the people, help the people, learn from the people, do a good job of mass mobilization; promote democracy at the grassroots level, maintain political security and social order and safety in the area... At the same time, increase specific and practical work to care for the material and spiritual life of the people.
