Focus on political and ideological work

The newly established Dak Lak province on the basis of merging the old Dak Lak province and the old Phu Yen province has created a new development space - larger, richer in resources, more culturally diverse, creating many potentials and advantages for development.

To effectively exploit these advantages, the province needs to urgently plan a new province to facilitate the State's management and operation. The province needs to focus on investing in projects that can create a boost for development, including asking the Government to support the construction of an expressway connecting Buon Ma Thuot with Tuy Hoa.

In the long term, it is necessary to complete the expansion of National Highway 29, study and invest in the railway project to the Central Highlands and the fuel pipeline system from Bai Goc port to the Central Highlands to create a traffic corridor connecting East and West, opening up new opportunities for Dak Lak to effectively exploit both mountainous and coastal areas; orienting the province's economy towards the sea.

The work of building the Party and the political system in this period also poses many high requirements because it is not only about consolidating the organization and arranging cadres suitable for the new apparatus, but more importantly, it is about creating unity in ideology, awareness and action throughout the Party; it is necessary to build a united collective with the same development goals, overcoming differences in geography, history and habits to move towards the common interests of the whole province. The province needs to pay special attention to political and ideological work; pay attention to fighting against localism, localism, and factionalism that causes disunity.

In addition, the development of cadres at all levels must be placed within the overall new requirements for management capacity, development management and serving the people. There must be a mechanism to select, train and use cadres with political courage, innovative thinking, public service ethics and a high sense of responsibility.

We hope and believe that the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee in the coming term will maintain principles and be flexible in leadership methods, promoting the exemplary role of cadres, especially leaders. The Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term will arouse the desire for development, set bolder and more decisive goals; take people and businesses as the center of service; take sustainable and harmonious development as the measure.

The draft congress documents have many new points, reflecting the Party's new thinking, new vision and new approach.

I realize that in strengthening the building of a strong Party, in addition to the report mentioned about politics, ideology, and ethics, we need to pay more attention to the issue of solidarity. Solidarity is an important content that determines the growth and survival of an organization, especially the Communist Party organization.

The merger of administrative boundaries and the unification of political and social organizations will make the Party stronger, the communities and ethnic groups in the area closer together, the regional distance and customs will blend into the common flow in the nation's rise. To do this, it requires the provincial Party leaders to do a good job of political and ideological work for each Party member, helping them clearly perceive the value of the strength of great solidarity. For the people, it is necessary to respect differences, strengthen comradeship, compatriotism and clearly perceive that whether in the mountains or the sea, it is the country, the homeland that our ancestors worked hard to build and left for us today. Our province is a land rich in patriotic traditions, with many contributions to the resistance wars and national construction. I suggest that the document also needs to emphasize more clearly the role, position and heroic tradition of the locality, considering it a spiritual resource to foster patriotism, educate the younger generation, and build great national unity.

In addition, the document also needs to emphasize more clearly the improvement of the quality and capacity of the cadre team, especially at the grassroots level. People only believe in the Party when they see that cadres "match their words with their actions", "dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility"; Party leaders at all levels must regularly inspect and detect signs of violations by cadres and party members for timely handling.

Another concern of soldiers like us is how to make today's young generation understand, appreciate and continue the revolutionary ideals. I suggest that the document should have more specific directions on political and ideological education for youth, pupils and students. It is necessary to organize many lively and practical activities to inspire and motivate the next generation.
