According to the report of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee, the province has done a good job of protecting the values of geological heritage, environmental resources, ecosystems, and biodiversity; investing in renovating facilities, preserving and introducing the heritage values of the Geopark routes; preserving and promoting indigenous cultural values, creating livelihoods, and developing sustainable tourism for the people.

The province has organized propaganda andeducation to raise awareness and responsibility for protecting the Geopark for local people. In particular, the province has promoted the Geopark to students, built the "Discovering the Geopark with me" Club; organized teaching of Tay - Nung languages, preserving indigenous languages for local people; strictly managed acts of encroachment and exploitation of mineral resources in the Geopark area. Up to now, 5 routes to experience Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark have become attractive tourist destinations for local tourism, attracting millions of visitors every year...

In a meeting with the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee on May 21, 2025, Mr. Guy Martini, Senior Advisor, Secretary General of the Executive Board of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network, Head of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network Consulting Team, commented: Cao Bang has made efforts to implement UNESCO recommendations in the operation of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark. This is a good basis for the re-evaluation and maintenance of the UNESCO title of Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark in June 2025.

Mr. Guy Martini suggested that the Provincial People's Committee, the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark and all levels and sectors should pay attention to raising public awareness about climate change prevention and natural disaster prevention. The province needs to have specific strategies and actions to warn of landslide risks, prevent and combat storms, floods and natural disasters before the annual rainy season; further strengthen the preservation of local ethnic languages by expanding the teaching and organizing Tay and Nung language competitions for students.

Forecasting that in the coming time, when the number of tourists increases, the province will face many challenges, Mr. Guy Martini recommended that Cao Bang should learn from the experiences of provinces with Global Geoparks such as Ha Giang, Dak Nong, Lang Son to build a new, more suitable action program, thereby maximizing the potential and strengths of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark.

Mr. Trinh Truong Huy, Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee, said that the province will consolidate and restructure the new Geopark Management Board, build and operate a new Geopark in the new commune after the merger in accordance with the two-level local government model. The province will develop an action program for the UNESCO Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark for the period 2026 - 2030 in accordance with the province's socio-economic and political innovation practices...
