
In addition to organizing donations at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry also organized donations at many events, including the evening of October 11, within the framework of the first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi, a charity auction took place to support people affected by recent floods.
Special products to be auctioned include: Hanoi Ao Dai of the 30s - designed by designer Vu Viet Ha; "Golden Lotus" design by designer Anh Thu, from the Ao Dai Ngan An brand; "Yen Vu" design by designer Nguyen Mi; "Lien Vu" silk scarf design by designer Van Hang from the DeSilk brand; "Lien Vu" Ao Dai design from the Nguyet Hoa collection by designer Ha Trinh; a special ceramic art work called "Mother and Child" by artist Ngo Ba Hoang; a special jewelry work from the Huong Jewellery brand; the painting "Ancient Cheo Dance and the Sound of the Kite Flute on the Golden Field" by artist Ngo Ba Hoang.


The charity auction resulted in 2.5 billion VND from donors to support flood victims.
Previously, on the afternoon of October 6, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storms and floods for all officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with a minimum donation of 1 day's salary. From the launch date of October 6 to October 14, the amount of donations was over 1.7 billion VND.
Thus, as of October 14, the total amount of money raised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is nearly 4.3 billion VND. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will promptly coordinate with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and relevant agencies to transfer to localities and people affected by storms and floods.
Donation activities to support flood victims will continue to be implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the coming time, in conjunction with cultural and artistic events organized by the Ministry.
