Vietnamese folk music is a key and essential element of Vietnamese culture. Every Vietnamese person is born and experiences a sweet childhood filled with their mother's lullabies, the cheerful sounds of children's songs, and the melodious tunes of their homeland's traditional music. Folk music has nurtured the souls of Vietnamese people for generations and continues to accompany their spiritual lives, acting as a driving force for social development, in line with the Party and State's belief that culture is the foundation for sustainable development. Because folk culture and arts are precious assets, a source of pride, and a unique cultural identity of Vietnam. "I hope the 'Vietnamese Soul' program will contribute to spreading Vietnamese folk culture to international friends, thereby attracting more international tourists to Vietnam to learn about and experience the unique features of this culture," director Van Nguyen shared.
