The merger of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces is a major policy of strategic significance of the Party and the State, a convergence of the Party's will and the people's will. At the same time, it demonstrates a broad vision in the planning and arrangement of provincial administrative units, aiming to maximize potential and advantages, creating new momentum for the comprehensive development of the northern mountainous region in particular and the whole country in general.
